Why Volleyball Programs Order These
A team sock has to do more than a regular one. It has to fit a roster of different sizes, match everyone's colors all season, and hold up to the sport it's built for. Here's what's actually going on inside ours.
What a Season on Hardwood Does to a Sock
Volleyball is hard on feet in a different way than field sports. There are no cleats and no pads, but there is constant jumping, quick lateral movement, and long hours on a gym floor that gives nothing back. The sock has to do two jobs at once: stay locked in the shoe through hard cuts, and support the arch through hundreds of landings a week.
